My cat loves this food - it's super soft and easy for him to eat, even after just having had a surgery on his jaw area. He was able to eat this with relative ease, but I did have to monitor and make sure he didn't eat too fast because it was super soft for him.

I like the variation however it could use a bit more broth / gravy other than that the 9 lives pate wet cat food is fine. I also use friskies brand as well with toppers and broth . My kitties seem to enjoy this food so yea i'm content with this purchase.

The pate is easy to feed as it comes out of the can easily with no need to dirty a spoon (although I do periodically switch up with shreds). My Judy Cat is nursing right now and begs to be fed and digs right in with none of the little "playing hard to get" games cats are famous for, lol. Price isn't a budget breaker and, in today's uncertain times, that's very important to me.

It is a decent food for my stray cats to switch it up a bit, they like the pate instead of their other one, those chunks are too big, they love the pink label that's for kittens, and the seafood best. 9 lives does and always has a good price. I've never had anyone get sick on it, so that's a plus also!
