The crystals are missed in with clay litter. It takes away the smell in automatic and manual litter box. The crystals absorb the urine to remove the smell. There should be additional options of weight for example 20 pounds instead of 8.

I love this cat litter. You get quite a bit and it's more affordable. Pretty litter was always way dusty and would get onto my clothes. So I changed to this litter and it doesn't do that. The dust is very low and it keeps the urine oder away. Love this cat litter!

My cat liked using Fresh Step Crystals. The quality of this litter is the best because if changes color for ironed abc it controls the smell really well. If you use it in conjunction with a cat litter deodorizer, the smell is almost completely nonexistent.

I love that this product is basically dust free and goes far further than the traditional clay litter. I use this in the PetSafe Scoop Free automatic litter boxes and it really keeps the order to a minimum. I would never go back to clay litter after using this product.

The best cat litter I have found in a while. The crystals really control odor. The things I don't like are it doesn't last more than 2 weeks and then it gets wet by stirring it around, as the directions says to, and the litter gets tracked out all over the house and you step on one of those crystals barefoot🤪it hurts.
