i bought this same item 7 years ago for my cats so my parents got a new kitten and there other cat who is also 7 and they both just went crazy playing with it. It's similar to a real pole but short works amazing

Don't expect it to work. There's one at the dollar store that does

you cant throw the line out. I thought i could sit on the couch and cast the toy and real it in to play with my kitty, but this is not the case. The line does not release and take off when u cast.

My cats love it. It's the best thing especially for cats that have a lot of energy or like to run fast.

i love the fun and excitement my 3 year old cat is loving this toy. she has had the best exercise and the best fun playing with this fishing pole and attachments. the only downside to it is that she's a little rough and two out of the three are already broken. so they'll have to be some repairs but all in all great investment for my cat.
