this looks exactly like my normal clumping litter that comes in a pail and was a little cheaper but didn't know it was non clumping... what's the point of cat litter if it doesn't clump? at the very least you(Purina) should have taken a little effort to differentiate product branding styles

This cat litter is what we prefer in our household. It is clean and almost 100 percent dust free, and it does not have a scent. It's easy to clean the cat box out after use, and it lasts several days if you scoop regularly. It does get tracked a little bit but we try to counter that by putting a cat litter pad underneath the box and out beside it. The 30 pound bag is heavy, so I started ordering online for pickup, and I order 3 at a time. The bags don't have the pull-string anymore, but I don't find it difficult to just use scissors or box cutter to open them. I use an extra large cat box with higher sides, and I can use half a bag to fill it. Just cut a pour corner in the bag and tip it over the side of the catbox. I also like that it is in a bag and not a bucket since we are reducing our use of single used plastics.

I thought I would save some coins by trying this option instead of my usual .. NEVER AGAIN. WHY would you ever want NON clumping litter!? It smelled terrible, did NOT control odor, and I was counting the days until it was gone so I could go back to my usual. I am not this person who takes time out of their day to review kitty litter, but this stuff was so god-awful here I am! I wish I could give it zero stars !

It's a good value for the money but it no longer seems to be lasting 10 days. It does create dust but not too much. I have been using it for years since the first brand I used was pricing itself out of my life. Overall it's a good price for what it is.

Tidy Cat is just the best cat litter on the market. I don't like the clumping litter. It's like sand and it gets all over the house and is terrible to use with multiple cats. The non-clumping clay litter on the other hand makes for easy clean up and is much better at controlling smells.

The litter is great! I didn't realize the litter was non-clumping and scented until I opened the bag; thus, it works more like a natural clay litter, therefore, the litter box has to be cleaned more often. Despite it being scented, it has odor control like no other. The value for the bag is great. A third of the price for double the amount?! Sign me up! Will be purchasing more in the future.

Being a broke/forgetful/lazy college kid is when I decided to start getting this instead of the expensive clumping stuff. Never went back because well I'm still a broke/forgetful/lazy adult. Cleans much easier than clumping when one accidentally doesn't clean the litter box every few days. Still manages to scoop clumps if you catch it early and are careful scooping. Much cheaper for a bigger size bag of this stuff than it is for the little containers of clumping litter. Stays deoderized for about a week and masks smell of cat, but smells like dust (which was expected). Highly recommend if you're anything like me and wanna save money/effort.
