the top part of the toy is very easily removed. my kitten was playing with it for 5 minutes and the top mechanism came off. i put it back on multiple times and she is able to get it back off within a minute. not worth the money

I think the spinning is maybe not erratic enough of a movement to entice my cat, she watches it a little but wasn't interested enough to engage. My cat is 14 though, maybe a younger cat or kitten would love it! Very easy to move around, light and compact.
